Gap Lake Alberta Canada - WALKING IN A FROZEN LAKE

Gap Lake is known as ice skating destination during winter season. We visited the place last weekend and its stunning. Perfect scenery for outdoor skating as the lake is frozen solid and the ice is smooth. But, you need to check the thickness of the ice if it is safe before skating as the condition will change everyday. It was too windy for us to skate. But, we still enjoyed the day. Seeing bubbles underneath the ice and walking into a frozen lake is just amazing. You can't do that on summer so better visit while winter is still not yet over.
