President Donald Trump is suing the BBC for up to $10 billion following the revelation that Britain's national broadcaster spliced together two clips from Trump's Jan. 6, 2021, speech and gave the false impression that he had called for violence. The British government on Dec. 16 formally launched a review of the BBC's Royal Charter and said it should ensure "accuracy" is just as important as 'impartiality'.
