A vibrant Christmas lights parade held in Long Beach ,Falun Dafa waist drum team bringing joy and blessings from Falun Dafa

On the evening of December 13, Long Beach, New York, hosted its annual Christmas Light Parade. Crowds packed the streets to watch, standing shoulder to shoulder. The Falun Dafa waist drum team participated once again, extending Christmas greetings to residents and spreading joy along with blessings from “Falun Dafa.” The audience responded with continuous cheers and applause, creating wave after wave of excitement.

Along West Beech Street, Long Beach's main commercial thoroughfare, festive lights adorned buildings and trees. Residents wore colorful lights around their necks and on their hats, while parade floats shimmered with dazzling, multicolored illuminations, bringing light and warmth to the chilly winter night. Though temperatures dipped below freezing that evening, it did little to dampen residents' enthusiasm. Crowds poured in from all directions to West Beech Street, filling the streets to overflowing. Layers upon layers of spectators packed the scene, with children particularly thrilled.
The Falun Dafa waist drum team once again joined the parade. Dressed in bright, traditional duck-yellow attire, they wore pink ribbons tied around their waists and drumsticks. With smiles on their faces, they performed energetically and spiritedly, playing “Falun Dafa Is Good,” “The New China March,” and the Christmas carol “Jingle Bells.” Their powerful, uplifting drumbeats drew continuous waves of enthusiastic cheers and applause along the route.

As each piece concluded, even more enthusiastic cheers erupted from the crowds lining the streets. People stepped in time to the drumbeats and melodies, swaying their bodies, while praise rang out: “Wonderful!” “I love them!” “I'm so happy to see them every year!” “I wait for them every year!”
The waist drum team incorporated a creative element into their performance: whenever they reached the densest crowd, they would turn to face the spectators lining the street. Seeing the team show them such respect, the audience cheered even more enthusiastically, creating what could be described as “wave after wave of excitement.”

Ms. Li remarked, “The waist drum team is delighted to add joy to this annual traditional family gathering. In today's chaotic and unsettled world, the team hopes to bring local residents the beauty of ‘Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,’ festive cheer, and blessings from Falun Dafa.”
Meanwhile, the Shen Yun promotional vehicle traveling alongside the parade continuously played the 2026 Shen Yun preview. The trailer's dazzling, spectacular visuals captivated the entire crowd.
