The King's Academy Ethiopia's Grand Opening!

The King’s Academy Ethiopia is now open for the new school year. Here’s a new long-form video that recaps the recent Grand Opening event and includes “thank yous” from our ministry partners in this endeavor.
As a sister school to TKA-WPB, this new Christian school in Duguna Fango will serve 150 boys and girls, providing them with educational benefits many Ethiopian children currently lack:
• Full-Day Schooling
• Pre-K Education
• Low Teacher-Student Ratios
• Christian Discipleship
• Daily Lunch Program
We’ve partnered with a local Christian ministry, Streets of Hope, to establish TKA Ethiopia and to impact many young lives. We are thankful that Hope Project International made this life-changing introduction. We are also grateful for generous alumni parent donors who have made TKA-ET a reality! In addition, TKA-WPB will support our sister school through faculty-to-faculty interaction and training, classroom cultural exchanges, student missions trips, and prayer.
Duguna Fango and other remote areas in Ethiopia face a tremendous need for quality education, and we believe that TKA-ET will quickly become an educational model for other communities to follow. TKA-ET is led by Streets of Hope and a dedicated group of Ethiopian believers—a local school board, principal and twelve teachers. Grandparents, parents, and students have prayed for years for a community school, and TKA-ET is the answer to their prayers.
Through this ministry partnership, we are not only meeting an urgent educational need; we’re helping to raise the next generation of Christian leaders in Ethiopia. These new TKA-ET students will grow up “in the wisdom and admonition of the Lord,” equipped to bring light and leadership to their community and their nation. Please join us in celebrating the launch of TKA Ethiopia, as TKA expands its mission “to share salvation through Jesus Christ” and “to graduate Christian leaders.”
