BALLET GIRLS - a behind the scenes mini-series

This 3-part documentary mini series goes behind the scenes, beginning with the open audition room where girls plie and pirouette for coveted spots within the RWB Summer School. Once in residence, away from home, the emotional toil, stress and painstaking reality of ""living the dream"" can be too much for some, while others thrive and grow. It's the teen girl world in a nutshell, including hi-jinks, laughs, and lessons learned.


Through the eyes of a handful of young hopefuls from across Canada and around the world, BALLET GIRLS captures the heartbreak of loss and the conviction of spirit needed to become a member of the world-renowned Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
