Hong kong: filming of "chinese box" draws to an end

Filming on the set of "Chinese Box", a movie depicting life in Hong Kong during the remaining months before the change of sovereignty, is drawing to a close.

The cast includes veteran British actor Jeremy Irons, China's Gong Li and is directed by Chinese-American film maker Wayne Wang.

"Chinese Box" is a love story which focuses on a relationship between an expatriate journalist played by Academy Award winning British actor, Jeremy Irons and an ex-bar girl Li.

It takes place in Hong Kong against the backdrop of skyscrapers during the run-up to the handover to Chinese sovereignty in July of this year.
