Republicans Purpose Direct Payments to Americans to Fix Obamacare

Congress has left for the Thanksgiving holiday with no formal proposal to consider addressing the expiring Affordable Care Act subsidies. Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) has proposed a bill to give consumers options instead of paying insurance companies directly.
