In the red dunes of Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara, camel driver M’Barek preserves a way of life shaped by wind, silence, and ancestral memory. Once a nomadic child travelling from oasis to oasis, he now watches the desert swallow old caravan routes and abandoned villages buried under advancing sand. Further north, in the Atlas Mountains, the ancient warrior tradition of Tborida lives on, where fathers teach their sons to ride, shoot, and earn the honor of becoming “Bardi” horsemen. From shifting dunes to thunderous rifle runs, this film explores the resilience of Morocco’s desert cultures and the ancestral rituals that continue to define identity across generations.
