Peaceful Forest Hideaway: Inside a Stunning Corten-Steel Guest Pavilion | Guest House Pavilion 1401
Guest House Pavilion 1401 is a minimalist 85-square-meter extension designed by Nordest Arquitectura in Spain, conceived as a simple corten-steel cuboid placed gently within the forest to preserve the natural surroundings. The pavilion features a U-shaped structure with a slatted façade that creates a serene inner retreat, while access is crafted through a sculptural ground-level void leading up to the main space. Inside, the layout functions as one open living-and-bedroom area with a bathroom tucked into a corner. Fully glazed east, south, and west façades invite abundant natural light, complemented by sliding corten-steel lattice panels for solar protection, while the north façade uses smaller openings to softly illuminate the bathroom and staircase.
