G.J. Delfgaauw paintings

Gerardus Johannes Delfgaauw, (Monster, 2 April 1882 – Rijswijk, 21 October 1947) was a Dutch painter.
After studying at the Hague Academy of Fine Arts around the turn of the century, Gerard Delfgaauw worked in a naturalistic-impressionist style. He painted numerous landscapes and cityscapes (including those of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Dordrecht, and Delft). His work includes a series of dynamic Rotterdam harbor scenes, including the Nieuw Amsterdam and the Statendam moored at Wilhelminakade.
