Government shutdown updates: House passes government funding bill

The House on Wednesday passed a funding bill that will end the government shutdown, the longest in U.S. history.

President Donald Trump is scheduled to sign the bill later Wednesday.

The legislation will fund the government through Jan. 30 and provide funding for some government agencies for the remainder of the fiscal year.
