Mulch: 4 ways we collect/create it on our land

We can create vegetative cover in four ways: planting cover crops such as grasses or legumes; leaving crop residue after harvest; using organic materials such as straw, dried leaves, grass clippings; and intercropping with perennials. These methods help protect the soil, retain moisture, and increase natural fertility.
