Hyenas panic as Male lion appears out of nowhere

Hyenas fear male lions significantly more than female lions due to their superior size, strength, and aggression. Male lions are more likely to actively hunt and kill hyenas, whereas lionesses are more likely to simply beat them and let them go. This makes male lions a more immediate and deadly threat, leading hyenas to avoid confrontation even when in large numbers.
