The McDonald’s was built in 1988 to fit with the city of Independence requirements for colonial buildings. This was never a bank, looks a lot like one though! Tourists stop and take photos here all the time. You can go upstairs but the remodel that happened in the last few years is an abomination. I show what it looked like before the remodel, and since I worked here from 2006-2011 I have some stories to tell.
