KICKED OUT (we filmed it!) MALL COP threatened to call police for filming @ Piqua Center - Piqua, OH
Join me on this urban exploration at the dead mall, Piqua Center in Piqua, Ohio. Police were threatened to be called on us by the Paul Blart mall cop. Security is very strict at this place and it’s very strange. We only want to document these places and show that we have hope for them, but they seem to have something to be embarrassed about. The mall is under a lot of construction. The mall has a comfort Inn and a Dunham's sports as anchors. They also have a popular entertainment center called Hero Day. They used to have a Sears, an Elder-Beerman, & a JCPenney. There are only about four stores open inside the mall and there’s no food court. There is plastic over parts of the mall as it is under active construction. I looked at the brochure that indicated what the new version of the mall will be someday. As I was doing that, one of the ladies working in the stores told on me to security for filming. I overheard it, so I found an exit but the exit that I found was not at all near where we had parked. The angry security guard came after us, but we were already outside when he told us to leave. We then speed walked and ran around the perimeter of the mall until we found our car. What do you think of Piqua Center? if you enjoy this URBEX let me know!
