This exceptional vintage 9 carat yellow gold compact has a circular form.

The surface of this Cartier compact is embellished with impressive engine turned decoration.

The centre of the cover is ornamented with an applied claw set cluster design, comprised of an impressive 0.06ct round faceted ruby to the centre encompassed with eight Old European cut diamonds, totalling 0.24ct.

The hinged cover secures with a push fit catch.

This impressive compact opens to reveal the original integrated mirror and powder compartment; this compact retains the original powder puff.

The interior rim of the case bears the renowned maker's/retailer's signature 'Cartier, London' and registration number '2389'.
