Hopper House by AHL Architects reinterprets the traditional Northern Vietnamese home through a contemporary lens, blending cultural familiarity with modern spatial design. Located in Quảng An, Vietnam, the 240-square-meter residence preserves the site’s old courtyard and mature trees, maintaining privacy and a deep connection to nature. By reimagining elements such as patios, thresholds, and rooflines, the architects created a home that feels both nostalgic and innovative — a tranquil urban retreat that honors local heritage while embracing modern living.
