Winter Bushcraft Camping in Heavy Snow – Survival Skills & Building a Warm Shelter with a Wood Stove
3 Video Views·Oct 13, 2025
How did I survive in -15°C weather?
After a tough climb, I finally reached the shelter I had built earlier. My feet were numb from the cold, but covering the shelter with a tarp and lighting the stove warmed me up. I melted snow to make tea and enjoyed the silence of the forest and the snowy scenery. Before darkness fell, I collected firewood and cleared the snow from the shelter roof to prevent it from collapsing. Then I cooked a hot meal with potatoes, onions, noodles, and vegetables, which warmed my body. I spent the night peacefully by the stove, enjoying the beauty of the snowy forest.
