Eva 3.0 was co- directed by Hideaki Anno, Kazuya Tsurmaki and Mahiro Maeda and was made by Studio Khara. It was released on November 17th. 2012 (eh, close enough) and is 1 hour and 46 minutes long

I will (not) stop making these puns

Even though the animation and the fight scenes are better than its predecessors, the plot line and decisions that the characters make don't seem to add up. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt by saying that, hopefully, I'll have the answers I'm looking for in 3.0+1.0, but for now, it looks like a jumbled mess.
