That became even clearer after Cameron County issued an official road closure notice for Flight 11 next Monday, with backup closures listed for the 14th and 15th during the same time window, just in case.
Still, chances are they’ll go with the 13th, because exactly one year ago, on that same date, SpaceX pulled off the historic Starship Flight 5, a mission that marked a huge step forward for the program when the Super Heavy booster was caught by Mechazilla’s massive chopsticks for the very first time.
So it wouldn’t be surprising if SpaceX is aiming to celebrate that milestone with another bold success, something that symbolically connects the two flights.
