My First Time Riding a proper Motorcycle!!! (In Vietnam, Starting the HA GIANG LOOP)

First question: Do you need a motorcycle license to ride in Vietnam. Legally yes, but actually no. Laws don't really exist out here. Most people I've met riding the Ha Giang Loop in fact did not have a motorcycle license. (Although I was carrying an International Drivers License which nobody bothered to ask me for.) Second question: Yes, the is possibly THE BEST thing to do in Vietnam. You get the thrill of doing motorcycling in Vietnam, without having to do the drive South. When I hear people talk about motorcycling vietnam, The Ha Giang loop is always the HIGHLIGHT. Important Note: Never get off the bike on the right side. Everything you do on the bike is on the left. You'll notice other travellers that don't know about this having bike kisses. Which are all really just burn marks from the exhaust on the bike.
