Driving northbound on the Hume Fwy, this truck nearly sideswiped me just after passing the Beveridge Exit Ramp and ended up in the centre median strip cheese graters, bouncing back and eventually coming to a stop after the Beveridge On-Ramp.
Police were notified and I went back to ensure the driver was ok, only to find another truck stopping behind him, the driver getting out of the truck and speaking to the truck driver. I left after checking that the police were only a minute away, and submitted the unedited footage to the police.
He might have had a medical episode or mechanical failure as you can see him hitting the breaks just before I approach the truck from behind.

UPDATE: We now have confirmation the driver suffered a medical episode in this incident. We are awaiting confirmation of his condition and hope he makes a speedy recovery.
