Road Trip, Camp Setup, Cooking, and Campfire: Father/Daughter Camping and Riding Motorcycles, Part 1

My daughter and I were so excited to head out on our first father daughter camping trip of the year. Even better? We're headed over the mountain to the Bend, Oregon area to meet up with our friends Kris and Nathan to do some motorcycle trail riding at Millican Valley OHV area! Nothing beats camping and riding motorcycles, except maybe when you get to take a father daughter road trip and camping trip at the same time. In this video, we take off from home and road trip up and over the Santiam pass, stopping to check out some beautiful snowy scenery and views of Mt. Washington along the way. After we got over the pass, we headed to the staging area to get camp set up. Kris rolled in with her full motorcycle camping setup shortly thereafter, and we had a fantastic evening, including building a campfire, camping cooking, enjoying some beer around the campfire, and dealing with some crazy wind and rain just as it got dark. Eventually, our friend Nathan arrived and after a few hours hanging around the campfire, we headed into the tent to get some sleep and hope that the overnight rain and wind wasn't too severe.
