Dropped Bikes, Campfire Cooking, and Laughing With Friends: Adventure Bike Motorcycle Camping
Motorcycle camping is always fun, but the best way to make motocamping even more enjoyable is to do it with great friends. On this trip, we meet up with McLovin Moto and Mike, plus Kris and Nathan from For the Love of Knobs. This was an insanely fun moto camping trip with friends, and we spent the whole night around the campfire just laughing and telling amazing stories about motorcycle adventures. We started out our motorcycle camping trip by meeting up with McLovin and then riding over to Mike's house. Mclovin and I are both riding our Honda Africa Twin adventure motorcycles, and Mike is riding a Suzuki DRZ400S dual sport. Together, we rode out into the wilderness and to our motocamping spot along the Alsea River, just up the road from Alsea Falls. After setting up our moto camping tents, we went out in search of firewood to cut and process, before starting a fire and cooking chicken and brats over the coals. Kris and Nathan showed up as we were eating dinner and Nathan promptly dumped his KTM 790 Adventure showing off in the muddy track leading to our motorcycle campsite. We spent the rest of this camping trip hanging out by the fire, laughing, and drinking coffee and packing up our moto camping gear in the morning before heading home.
