into everyday life.

Her work is focused on creating functional pieces that serve a basic need as well as encouraging a little attention and care. She works from her home studio in Island Bay, Wellington and uses a variety of clays from Aotearoa, New Zealand, thrown using a manual kick wheel.

Zoë is always experimenting with new forms, glazes and patterns.

“It’s quite calming, the whole process, and I really have to be paying attention to what’s going on, and I think it feels like I’m looking after the pots”, says Zoë.
