Ninth Street’s 3kg Loaded Hot Dog Challenge on Sunshine Coast Is So Tough That People Quit Trying!!

American professional eater Randy Santel versus Ninth Street's "Down The Dog" 32" Long 3kg Loaded Chili Cheese Coney Hot Dog Challenge, hosted by Ninth Street in Mooloolaba, Queensland on the Sunshine Coast inside The Wharf Mooloolaba!! My girlfriend ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I left Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia and headed east over to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia where I attempted 5 delicious Australian competitive eating challenges around the greater Brisbane metro area, including Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. For final food challenge #5, my Aussie friend with his son picked me up in Brisbane and we drove up to Ninth Street which is part of The Wharf Mooloolaba in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. I attempted their "Down The Dog" 32" Long 3kg Loaded Chili Cheese Coney Hot Dog Challenge which had a very short 30 minute time limit, only beaten previously by 3 of my Australian competitive eating friends. The hot dog challenge consists of a 2kg loaded hot dog served with 1kg of chips. There is a 32-inch long French baguette sliced open and filled with 4-5 hot dogs / sausages, topped with homemade chili, cheese sauce, healthy onions, jalapenos, tomato slices, scallions, and then ketchup and mustard. There are no drinks or desserts required. I was trying to become just the 4th champion to finish within 30 minutes to earn my $49 AUD meal free plus a sweet T-Shirt, Certificate of Completion, $50 AUD gift voucher to come back and use later, and spot on Ninth Street's Wall of Fame.
