China's Economic Activities Continue to Slow Down

China’s economic activities continue to slow down in August. Data released by National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS) on September 15 revealed that industrial production growth slowed sharply in August, rising by 5.2 percent over the same period last year, and missing Reuter’s survey of economists of a 5.7% rise.
