Integrating Art, Culture and Creativity into Professional Development

The webinar highlights key elements of a 3-phase project held in Vietnam between the University of Glasgow and the Vietnam National Institute of Education and supported by Departments of Education in 3 provinces. The project focuses on: Integrating Art, Culture and Creativity into Professional Development. The project involved 329 teachers from 5 ethnic groups, across rural and suburban areas, supported by 36 facilitators and 14 local artists. It was focused on the primary and lower secondary sector.
The project aims to:
• Support the development of interactive lesson plans.
• Support the integration of local cultural resources into classrooms
• Facilitate the collaboration with local teachers and artists.
