Hello friends! 👋 Today we're baking a tender, moist chocolate cake with a rich flavor. The perfect recipe for holidays and a regular family meal. Easy to make, it looks and tastes like it came straight from the bakery! 🍫
Recipe:
👉 Chocolate sponge cake:
140 g flour (1 cup).
45 g cocoa (1/3 cup).
5–6 g baking powder (1 teaspoon).
Mix thoroughly.
50g dark chocolate.
150 g vegetable oil (3/4 cup).
Melt in the microwave or in a water bath.
Stir until smooth.
4 eggs.
1 pinch of salt.
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar.
200 g sugar.
Beat at medium speed for about 6 minutes, until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Pour melted chocolate with vegetable oil.
Stir until smooth.
Sift dry ingredients.
Stir until no lumps form.
120 ml boiling water (1/2 cup).
Stir again.
100g chocolate chips (drops) optional.
👉 Baking:
22 cm baking tray – line with baking paper or grease with oil.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 50 minutes.
Check readiness with a wooden stick.
Let cool for about 20 minutes.
👉 For the chocolate ganache:
100 g dark chocolate.
80g milk chocolate (or dark chocolate for a more intense flavor).
170 g 33% cream.
Heat in the microwave or in a water bath.
Stir until smooth.
Let cool for 1-2 hours.
I used chocolate rice balls for decoration. 👌
