The House in Thuan Hoa by 3fconcept reinterprets Vietnam’s traditional “three-compartment, two-wing” house to meet modern living needs. By simplifying the original layout—removing one bay and one wing—the architects created an open-plan ground floor for living, dining, and kitchen spaces, while placing private bedrooms in a perpendicular upper wing. The design integrates natural light, ventilation, and strong connections to the garden, while preserving cultural elements like a worship space, large courtyard, and backyard for farming. Using familiar materials and forms, the house bridges past and present, offering rural communities a modern yet culturally grounded way of living
