The best part of any dual sport motorcycle riding adventure is the amazing views you can find. This dual sport trail riding journey to the top of Oregon's Cache Mountain featured mile-high views of the Oregon Cascades, including Mt. Jefferson, the Three Sisters, Mt. Washington, Black Butte, Suttle Lake, Big Lake, Blue Lake,Three Fingered Jack, Hoodoo, and other amazingly beautiful landmarks in this amazing mountain range. We put our dual sport bikes to the test: one Suzuki DRZ400S and one Yamaha WR250R, along with our friends on their Honda FourTrax quad and CRF250R. The ride to the top of Cache Mountain is a technical one, with lots of rocky technical sections to put our dual sport motorcycle trail riding skills to the test. It's a great ride with lots of enjoyable sections. Once we reached the top, I had to put my drone up and get some amazing sweeping views of the surrounding Mt. Washington Wilderness. This was just the beginning of our off road motorcycling adventure this day, and in part two (coming soon) we'll explore a hidden series of black sand dunes and some rocky snowmobile trails on the back side of the Santiam OHV Area.
