The time has come for Lil' Dork to move on from her Honda CRF110F. Now that she's 13, she's really outgrown the 110. It was an excellent first dirt bike for her, but her skills (and her) have grown and she's ready to move up to a bigger, more capable motorcycle. Before we let it go, though, she wanted to get out for one final father/daughter dual sport adventure: her on the Honda CRF110F and me on my Suzuki DRZ400S. This was a fantastic adventure. We rode our dual sport motorcycles up into a literal cloud, explored a great dispersed camping site near a beaver pond deep in the woods, played around in the mud a bit (including a fully-grown man riding the little 110F), climbed to the top of a mountain to check out some amazing scenery and beautiful views of the cascade mountains, and totally redeemed ourselves by venturing back up to the scenic overlook that had limited visibility earlier in the day.
