This unit focuses on toys. In the first lesson, the students learned to recognize and name six toys: a teddy bear, a robot, a ball, a doll, a car, and blocks. The second lesson helped them understand the difference between "small" and "big," review the three primary colors (blue, yellow, red), the names of the toys, and create groups of words: a small yellow robot. The third lesson taught them how to say which toy they are playing with and which toy they want. In the fourth lesson, which will take place over two sessions, the students will discover the story "It's Time to Play!" They will use everything they have learned in the previous lessons to understand the story.
