Part 1 Building a timetable framework
These are the steps needed to build the basis for making the timetable: subjects, classes, classrooms, teachers, constraints and some basic design steps. The simple way is just to copy a file from someone on the campus who made the timetable before. If not, you need to build from scratch using these steps. Even with the file, you would need to know these steps to help make changes in the future.
Part 2 Creating the timetable
This is the main part of the training. These are the steps for how create the timetable once the framework is in place. Some basic pre-planning is needed. The lessons need to be created for each group. Some lessons might need to placed an locked in. Then the software can generate the timetable. The last step is to print and share with the various people who need the timetable; student services, students, teachers and other stakeholders.
Part 3 Enhancing the timetable
These are the steps needed to make the timetable more visual appealing and more useful for the different users. Some basic guides to applying colour, design, headers and logos. Also, how to make changes once the timetable is made. Plus, how to make a cover schedule.
