NYC shooting: What we know about gunman and victims killed

A 27-year-old man wearing body armor and carrying an M4 assault rifle shot and killed four people, including off-duty New York Police Department Officer Didarul Islam, who was working security in a Midtown Manhattan office building, officials said during a press conference Monday evening.

Sources told our sister station, ABC7 Eyewitness News in New York, that the alleged gunman critically injured a fifth victim, who is stable.

The incident occurred just before 6:30 p.m. in a building located at 345 Park Ave. and 52nd Street, which contains the headquarters for the investment company Blackstone and the National Football League, sources told ABC News. #nyc #news #newyorkcity #fyp
