Weekly Garden Chat: Algae Tip, Insects, Watering & Fish! 🐠🐟

A quick chat today about what’s going on in my garden in Essex, England.

First of all, I’m still waiting for the cherries 🍒 to ripen, we’ve had an influx of ladybirds 🐞 plus flying ants 🐜 and leafcutter bees 🐝 so it’s all happening at once here!

Secondly, I’ve been given a great tip for keeping your bird baths and fountains clear from algae by adding a piece of copper … this really seems to be working for me.

Thirdly, and most excitingly, we added 10 Gold White Cloud Mountain Minnow fish to our raised pond two weeks ago. They’re settling in very well and have been a complete delight to watch every day.
