With only his mind — no treasure, no gown.
Through cities and fields, through smoke and rain,
He asked for sages — for the sacred plane.

"Who knows the Dao, the secret of life?"
"Where is the path beyond death and strife?"
People laughed, they couldn't hear,
But something inside kept drawing him near.

The search begins — through wind and stone,
Through foreign lands, through nights alone.
A heart that questions — is never lost,
For every step reveals the cost.

No gold he seeks, no throne, no praise —
Only the path that outlives days.
A word, a way, that forever shines —
A light within that truth defines.

He met traders, monks, and thieves,
Poor fishermen, girls with hidden grief.
He saw people chasing empty air,
Yet few could answer what lay there.

They spoke of gods, they spoke of gold,
But no one spoke what the spirit holds.
Yet deep inside, a spark kept burning —
A call, a dream, a timeless yearning.
