The 17th Australia Queensland Taiwan Cup Golf Tournament and Taiwanese Overseas Chinese Group Joint Charity Gala was held on the evening of October 16 at Landmark Restaurant in Brisbane. Chairman Mr. Wen and Chairman Mark Chen donated AU$36,000 on behalf of the committee to the Brisbane Mayor's Charitable Fund, accepted by Mayor Adrian Schrinner and his wife.
The Queensland Taiwan Charity Foundation has been in existence for 17 years. With its generosity year after year, Brisbane Mayor Mrs. Nina Schrinner was moved and repeatedly said that the Taiwanese community, Mr. Wen and everyone here are our trust's largest donor in history.
