A Wild Life: Birds in Care at Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation

Did you know that Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is a migratory hotspot for wild birds? This means that the birding is incredible in the spring, but it also means plenty of birds that become injured or orphaned while trying to navigate the cityscape. That’s what we’re here to do – we help any wild animal in need, but our specialty is birds. Songbirds, corvids, shorebirds - you name it, we’ll care for it. And in this day and age, helping any individual bird is a win for their population and their roles in the larger ecosystem. From providing pest control to pollinating plants, the world wouldn’t be the same without them.
