SpaceX Crazy Manufacturing New Gen Raptor every 24 hours shocks the entire industry...
Elon Musk just dropped a bombshell: SpaceX is planning to build 126 Starship Raptor 3 engines a day, that’s 3,500 a month and a mind-blowing 42,000 a year.
Yeah, you heard that right. That will be the craziest production goal in aerospace history.
And to put it in perspective, they’re currently making just one Raptor 2 engine a day.
Now imagine scaling that up a hundredfold.
It’s almost impossible to imagine how massive the production facilities will have to be to pull this off.
So, what's the detailed plan he's proposing?
Is this really going to happen within the next 5 to 10 years?
Let’s break it all down in today’s episode of Alpha Tech.

Um, but ultimately, we're aiming for the ability to produce 1,000 ships a year. So, three ships a day.
It’s a jaw-dropping vision that not only shocks us, but also leaves us wondering: how could SpaceX possibly overcome the immense technological and logistical hurdles to make this real?
Well, in last week’s Mars presentation, Musk offered a glimpse into how they might pull it off, starting with a brand-new version of the rocket.
It’s called the Next-gen Starship. While it’s only about two meters taller than the current version, it comes with key upgrades. The engine layout remains the same: 6 Raptors on the upper stage and 33 on the Super Heavy booster.
And the Starship Version 3 that we used to talk about, the one rumored to be 150 meters tall, isn’t really a thing anymore. In the presentation, it showed up under a new name: Future Starship. When stacked, it’s actually 142 meters tall, with the booster hitting 81 meters and the ship itself at 62 meters.
But here’s the kicker, the Ship now packs 9 Raptors, 3 sea-levels and 6 Rvac or Vacuum Engines, while the booster still rocks 33. And they’re not just any engines, we’re talking about the latest, most advanced engines on the planet: Raptor 3s.

So when Musk talks about building 3 Future Starships a day, that also means they’ll need to pump out up to 126 Raptor engines for each batch. That’s a massive leap, it shows just how critical it is for SpaceX to scale up their engine production if they want to make this future happen.
Right now, Raptor 3 engines are only being built at SpaceX’s McGregor test facility out in Texas, about a 450-mile drive from Starbase. SpaceX doesn’t release official numbers when it comes to how many engines they’re making, ’cause, well, they like to keep that stuff under wraps.
But from leaked photos showing engines being moved around the site, folks estimate they’re cranking out maybe 4 engines a month right now.
Now, compare that to the goal of 126 Raptor 3s per day...Well, at this point, hitting that target feels about as tough as landing Starship on Mars, possible in the future, but we’re definitely not there yet.
First, let’s dive into the heart of the project and see how SpaceX aims to reach that jaw-dropping number.
These new Raptors aren’t just minor upgrades from the previous generation, they’re a full redesign, loaded with fresh tech and boosted performance all around.
