French Meaning: Big throw
Movement: A jump where one leg is extended to the front by Grand Battement and the other to the back, forming a split in mid-air. The dancer then lands in plié on the first leg that was extended.

Saut de Chat:
Pronounced: soh duh SHAH
French Meaning: Cat's jump
Movement: Similar to Grand Jeté but executed with a developpé, where the working leg bends and then extends. The second leg then extends to the back, forming a split in mid-air. The dancer lands in plié on the first leg that was extended.

Cabriole:
