Part 2 - Tina’s Garden Design Makeover 🌳🌳🌳
In this week’s video we are continuing my New Garden Design Series at my very good friend Tina’s small garden in Langdon Hills, Essex, England.
Their garden had been rather neglected for the whole of 2024 whilst they’ve had some internal building work done, including the addition of a new conservatory.
They’ve asked me to help them with a complete garden makeover and today you can see Days 2 through 5 of our progress.
I’ve measured the plot, drawn up a scale plan and produced the design which they are both happy with, and in last week’s video we made a start by limbing up the conifers on one side of the garden cabin.
Today we continue limbing up the conifers on the other side, take down all the walls of the raised beds, level out the soil and move most of the rockery stones.
Next, we are tidying away all the broken bricks, over-wintering Tina’s many (many!) garden ornaments anf moving the two large green storage cabinets over to the new utility area by her garage.
I hope you enjoy this garden design series where we will be removing anything we don’t like, keeping the things we still love, and giving Tina & Keith the garden of their dreams 🩷
