Xihua Lu is one of the best food streets we have ever come across in all our years of travel. There are countless restaurants, eateries and street food stalls to explore. You can definitely spend a couple of days eating along this road. It's situated in Liwan district, a historical district in Guangzhou which is a must visit if you want to experience delicious, traditional Cantonese food.

From dim sum to Cantonese barbecue and roast meats, and wonton noodles to congee- Guangzhou has something to suit all tastes. This is a 6 part series of our exploration of Guangzhou’s delicious food scene.
