This channel is dedicated to all the gold seeking Pickleballers out there who dink responsibly and stay out of the kitchen. We have all levels come through the channel, but we concentrate on the 4.0s, 4.5s and up to 5.5s.
I started this channel quite by accident, I was recording my games to do film study and get better. I did not have time or money for lessons from pro pickleball coach, so I started watching all my screwups. People that I was playing with started to ask if they could watch too and I said sure. That helped all of us a lot to improve our game, strategy, mental toughness, and techniques. Now we have new pickleball videos published several times a week. We occasionally have pro pickleball players on the channel. Mostly its non pro pickleball players on their quest to 5.0 pickleball. We have all levels come through the channel: 4.0 pickleball, 4.5 pickleball and up to 5.5 pickleball with the pros.

I know you're going to get really upset with me. It's not a big deal. Everyone does. I just finished telling you to speed the ball up directly in front of you. Now I'm going to tell you that times to speed it up cross court. When do you do it? Let's get into it right now! The contrarian view: speed the ball up crosscourt. Johnny Goldberg is in the top left-hand corner. He's a pro, and Justin Petrulak is pretty famous for speeding the ball up crosscourt. He is in white, and he just sped the ball up to Jonathan Wilson. Jonathan Wilson is a very good player, and maybe better than Johnny right now. However, in this match he was not playing good. So speed the ball up to the weaker opponent. This is one example of when to do it. The second reason: keep them guessing. Here's Justin again. He goes crosscourt, and again this is unorthodox. You keep them guessing, you keep them off balance. They can't get a rhythm, and you win the match. This is a huge upset that me and Justin pulled off against Jay Sinomonvis-Armas. The third reason is to get your partner with the faster reaction times involved. He speeds it up. I'm ready. Backhand middle usually comes into play. Here in this example I'm getting an overhead, and we gain advantage the point, and we win. Once we do this we mix it up. Then I go fast and hard with the backhand row at Jay Sinomonvis-Armas. He's iced, and we win the point! Next Justin goes crosscourt, and we win the point again. That's how you pull off an upset by being unorthodox. This is the contrarian view to speeding the ball up crosscourt. Let me summarize: speed the ball crosscourt against weaker opponents, ice a stronger opponent, and then go at him really. Play strategy. Next speed the ball cross court to mix it up. Keep your opponents off balance. When you do this, you're going to slow that reaction time, and you're going to win more games. You're going to be a happier person! Lastly get your partner with the faster reaction times involved. You can do this by going crosscourt giving him that backhand middle, or even getting him a forehand. Guys and ladies, thank you so much for watching!
