Jung Hae-Seong (Seo Kang-Joon) is an ace agent for the National Intelligence Service (NIS). After a major incident during a mission, he’s demoted and assigned to find King Gojong’s missing gold bars. To do this, he goes undercover as a student at Byeongmoon High School. There, he meets his homeroom teacher, Oh Soo-A (Jin Ki-Joo).

Oh Soo-A is a contract Korean history teacher with a strong sense of responsibility and deep care for her students. When Jung Hae-Seong transfers to her class, she begins to see him as a reflection of her first love, a person who caused her great emotional pain.
