A Historical Home Gets A Contemporary Refresh

Samantha Darvay, senior designer of Cornerstone Design & Build, checked everything off of her clients’ wish list with this functional home makeover in Toronto’s east end. Not only did she deliver a brand-new kitchen — complete with a walk-through pantry — but she also expanded the home’s entryway and added a kids bathroom on the upper level. Favourite moments include the colour-drenched living room and the serene principal bedroom with warm tones and subtle textures.
