Embracing Failure in Acupuncture
In this video, I tackle an important topic that’s often overlooked in the acupuncture community: failure. The inspiration for this video came from one of my students who was disheartened after struggling to get quick results with acupuncture in some of her cases.
🔹 Understanding the Bias: I’ll dive into the bias among acupuncture communicators and teachers, where we tend to highlight our successes while glossing over the difficult cases.
🔹 Reality Check: I’ll discuss how regardless of how what techniques you use (Master Tung, Balance Method, ZSA...) even the greatest masters encounter challenging cases that don’t resolve as quickly as we’d like, and why it's crucial to recognize this as a normal part of practice.
🔹 Learning from Failure: I’ll share insights on how to embrace these challenges as learning opportunities rather than setbacks.
🔹 Encouragement for New Practitioners: For those new to the field, I’ll offer advice on how to stay motivated and continue growing, even when faced with tough cases.
This video is a must-watch for acupuncture students, new practitioners, and even seasoned professionals who need a reminder that failure is a natural part of the journey. Let’s break the myth that every case can be solved in one session and embrace the reality of our practice.
