Many Chinese people choose to hold their weddings during the seven-day holiday in early October. This year was no different. However, some stuff is very different from previous years. Recently, the media in mainland China have been running an article titled "These young people are having weddings but not spending an extra cent." It gained a lot of attention. For example, this one reposted on the social media platform Weibo has gained nearly 200,000 views.
