Asturias - Isaac Albéniz (for Harp, String Orchestra and Drums) | Альбенис - Астурия

Asturias (initially named Leyenda) from Isaac Albeniz's Suite Española Op. 47 (1886). Arranged for solo Harp, String Orchestra and Drums. Originally written for piano, it was later arranged for various other instruments and is as frequently performed on guitar as on piano. This orchestration is a reimagining of the piece in an orchestral setting.

Performed on January 23rd, 2021 at the Moscow Philharmonic (Tchaikovsky Concert Hall) by Sasha Boldachev (harp) and the State Academic Chamber Orchestra of Russia.
