Domitian’s Dacian War (86-89 AD) // Roman History Documentary

The year is 85AD. The Roman Empire is near the apex of its power. The Roman Emperor Domitian erects a vast network of watch towers, forts and roads on the Rhine Frontier, consolidating the borders. However, on the Danubian Frontier to the East lays a dormant but ascending threat. Decebalus, the King of Dacia, begins a conflict known today as the Dacian Wars with Rome.
